The powerful LED light is suitable for replacing 8″ can lights and is IC rated for safe contact with insulation. The downlight can also be used for new construction or remodel projects and installs easily with out any can housings needed.  Use conduit or non-metallic sheathed cables with round and square knockouts for installation . The 8-inch LED downlight emits up to 2,800 lumens. A high color-rendering index (CRI) of 92, the LED fixture shows the true colors of fabric, objects, and surroundings. This energy-efficient LED light consumes 35 watts of power and is comparable to a 185-190 watt incandescent bulb. The downlight has 120 VAC operating voltage and follows the guidelines of California Title 24 Part 6, Building Energy Efficiency Standards.
